The BRAVIA Theater Sub 9 delivers up to 600 W of powerful bass through dual opposing 200 mm aluminum drivers. This design produces clean, controlled low frequencies with minimal vibration, while its ultra-low-frequency response reveals deeper layers of bass that other home theater systems may miss.

The BRAVIA Theater Sub 9 features two 200 mm aluminum drivers positioned in an opposing configuration to help cancel internal cabinet vibrations and minimize distortion. This results in powerful, clean, and controlled bass that you can feel, without the unwanted rattling often associated with lesser subwoofers.

Yes, the BRAVIA Theater Sub 9 is a wireless subwoofer that connects with compatible Sony BRAVIA Theater soundbars and systems for an easy plug-and-play setup. It can also connect directly to a compatible BRAVIA TV, allowing you to enhance bass performance without requiring additional equipment.

The BRAVIA Theater Sub 9 is designed for the Sony BRAVIA Theater ecosystem and is compatible with the BRAVIA Theater Bar 9, Bar 8, Bar 7, Quad, and Trio, as well as the HT-A7000, HT-A5000, and HT-A3000. For complete compatibility details, please refer to the website for each individual product.

Yes, you can connect two BRAVIA Theater Sub 9 units to create stronger, more balanced, and room-filling bass. A dual-subwoofer setup requires two subwoofers of the same model, and the connected soundbar or home theater system must support dual subwoofers.

When paired with compatible BRAVIA products, you can adjust the BRAVIA Theater Sub 9 settings through the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app. The app must be installed on a smartphone connected to the same home network. Integrated remote functionality with TVs and home theater products may vary depending on the home theater product.

When connected directly to a compatible BRAVIA TV, the BRAVIA Theater Sub 9 enhances bass performance without requiring additional equipment, providing a simple setup and more powerful sound. This feature is available with compatible BRAVIA TVs, and product availability may vary by country or region.
